expertise, professionalism, and commitment have made a tremendous change
in my life. When I met you, I had a severe teeth problem from grinding
during the night.
My teeth were considerably shorter than the ideal. It was so uncomfortable that when I chewed my food, my gums would actually contact the food, leaving my gums irritated.
The reduced mass of my teeth were causing sensitivity to hot and cold foods.
Due to the same nighttime grinding habit, my smile was terrible. If you have looked in the mirror and smiled without exposing your teeth, that was me all the time. As if I didn’t have any teeth at all. I formed a habit of not smiling.
Due to the unevenness of my teeth, my jaw would not close straight down. Rather, it closed in a slight angle that caused my jaw to make popping noise as I chewed. In addition, I had a nagging pain in my jaw. My condition is not unusual. Grinding my teeth happened so gradually that it was almost unnoticed through the years. I have been to several Mukilteo dentistry offices, where I was told, 'I can’t do anything for you other than to fit you for a new night guard.'
My pictures before and after shows the superficial part of the treatment, but behind the new smile is the comfort of enjoying my food and without the nagging pain in my jaw. As equally important, I found a renewed self confidence.
