PORCELAIN VENEERS
Renew and restore your damaged tooth.
Have the smile you've always wanted!
Porcelain veneers are thin tooth-colored porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth to improve color, shape, and size. You’ve, no doubt, seen movie stars with fabulous smiles who have porcelain veneers, but don’t worry, you don’t have to pay like a celebrity to have the smile you’ve always dreamt of!
Porcelain veneers are a popular and affordable way to enhance your smile and correct smile flaws, including:
At Harbour Pointe Family Dentistry we know your smile is as unique as you are. At your personal consultation with Dr. Johnson, you will discuss what you want for your new smile and any questions you may have about the process. Together, you and our team will create a treatment plan just right for you.
Using dental impressions, we will prepare a prototype of your new smile. You’ll be fitted with temporary veneers to wear until your permanent ones are created so you can “try on” your new smile and get used to the “new” you!
Your impressions are sent to a local lab which uses the latest technology to craft your beautiful restorations. In just a matter of weeks, your veneers will be ready, and these will be bonded to your teeth. Your celebrity smile is now ready to make you feel like the star you are!
Through continued education and the incorporation of the latest dental technology available, Dr. Johnson and his team create the most comfortable environment possible for their patients.
Our dentist and team work together like a well-oiled machine to give you the best dental experience we possibly can.

- Will drinking coffee, tea or wine stain my veneers? Unlike natural tooth enamel, porcelain veneers do not stain! Veneers are coated with a stain-resistant resin that protects them. However, this protective resin can be damaged or worn off if not maintained properly. Seeing Dr. Johnson for your regularly scheduled check-ups will help you keep them stain-free.
- What if I just want to use veneers on my top teeth? Actually, this is pretty common. Many people just have the upper teeth done, the ones you see the most when you smile or talk. But, to keep your smile looking balanced, we would recommend having the bottom teeth whitened to match the shade of the veneers on the upper teeth.
- How long will porcelain veneers last? The answer to that depends a lot on you and how well you care for your teeth. Veneers can last for decades if properly cared for and if you see Dr. Johnson for your regular maintenance visits.
